Do you know how to clear your mind? There are some who do so by taking a relaxing bubble bath and there are others who like to zone out while doing house chores like folding laundry or washing dishes. People often think that meditation requires them to sit in a room with their legs crossed chanting "OMM" repeatedly. This may be a meaningful practice for some but it is important to realize that there are many ways to free your mind of mental clutter. The main ingredient is being intentional about how you do it. Enter your mind space on purpose and with purpose. When it is not done with purpose, any passing thought can catch your attention and derail your focus. And at that point, it doesn't matter whether you are in the tub, on the beach, or in the middle of a carnival. Of course you will always have thoughts that come and go but the key to receiving clear messages from your higher self is remembering that your thoughts are not your master. You are the captain of the ship and you steer it where you want it to go. The more you practice, the better you get!
Your advice: Create a safe space in your mind that you can retreat to no matter where you are physically.
